This kind of road trip has never even come across my mind, but wow. Seems like a rad one! Would love to do that and visit all of the ruins and villages along the way!

Good post Tim. I remember the days you could sit in the back of the pickup with the dog. Had forgotten how nice that used to be – yeah, I’m sure can’t do that anymore here in Canada either!
Sounds like a nice outing (except for that metal box)

That’s surely an experience Tim, riding in the back of the truck is not exactly what I have in mind when I think of a road trip but why not? It might have not been the most comfortable of the rides, but as long as it took you where you wanted and back it counts as road trip :)
