They actually go through a lot of training to become mermaids. It’s pretty strenuous to swim underwater like that and they do it with such grace.

It’s harder than they make it look. Would love to check it out next time I’m in Florida. Looks like fun!

This is totally a blast from the past for me. I’ve been to Weeki Wachee several times, when I was really little and the mermaid show totally BLEW MY MIND! I’m so happy that it’s still mesmerizing kids and kids-at-heart. Maybe someday I’ll be back to see it again.

One of my Mom’s friends was a mermaid back in the 70s. How cool is that?
