In reply to Kenin Bassart. that is nowhere close to a wolf. it's a coyote or fox, possibly a fox/coyote mix.

that is most definitely not a wolf. it’s probably a coyote, but it’s tail is too long. many canids interbreed, i’ve seen coywolves, wolfdogs, and coyote/jackal mixes. this one could be a fox/coyote mix.

In reply to Sally. Sally, i am not sure it is a grey wolf. There has been quite a debate on this in the last few days :) I am now torn between wolf, coyote, and grey fox. Not sure how to get the real answer though :)

Are you sure this is a baby grey wolf? Looks like a coyote to me! I have these guys go through my yard almost every day:)
