I think one of the most amazing things about structures such as the Taj Mahal is the testament to the brilliant minds who engineered the structure…and the power of raw materials from the Earth.

Drywall and stucco have nothing on blocks and bricks :)

And indeed; imagine the glory if that wall was still gold. Take your breath away with its magnificence.

I haven’t been to the Taj Mahal…yet, but I feel like your post took me there. I like how showed more than just the main building and explained the details behind how it was built. Very interesting!

this post gave me chills. Thank you for providing the history and background of this breathtaking structure. Your photos were beautiful. There is nothing like this in our “modern day” world. just gorgeous. One can only imagine how long it took to build!
