Am a lifelong patron of Tweetsie Railroad since 1971.Do enjoy every scene around the park & still a blast from the past.Do play cowboy for a day & come to see “Riders In The Sky” about every August.Am their president of the R.I.T.S fan club’s Eastern division/Carolina region.Also was a former friend of the late Fred Kirby.Lived in Charlotte as I do.Handed down his legacy to me before his passing in 1996.Also am friend to Matthew Ernst,Engineer of Tweetsie Railroad.Still has his trademark smile & spunk as he did for the past 20 years.Used to ride with him in the cab of both #190 & #12.Still worth the visit any time of year.Would recommend the park to my friends & family.

Tweetsie Railroad must be one of the best theme parks out there. I have never been to a theme park with a exclusive Western theme. Your photos are wonderful, depicting clearly how amazing this place really is. I would love to pack my bags and be on my way right now.
