I’ve been to DC quite a few times and I have to say my least favorite thing was the White House. I guess it’s from seeing it in pictures & movies throughout my life that I expected to be much bigger, however when finally seeing it in person it just seemed so small. I do love the city though and I could really go for a chili half smoke with onions & mustard right about now. :)

Such an informative post. Photos are very nice. The typical monuments and museums are a fantastic way to spend a day. I also think the public transit was extremely simple to use. Thanks for sharing this post.

Such an informative post. As an avid traveler, I loved stumbling across this post. I have been to DC but unfortunately, all of the hustle and bustle of the busy destination held me back from having the opportunity to visit all of the beautiful landmarks. Though I have some seen, I hope that in the future I have the chance to go back and visit all the others. The pictures in this post are truly beautiful. Great post, thank you for sharing!

I love DC. Will they ever finish with Washington monument repairs?! I also think the public transportation was extremely user friendly.
I did not get the opportunity to explore the food scene, unfortunately.
What Smithsonian museums would you recommend if time does not allow for all of them??
