Since starting this nomadic journey almost 3 years ago I have graduated from professional animal stalker to amateur animal photographer. My goal is to one day become a professional animal photographer but that means years of classes and sifting through thousands of my blurry photographs and allowing my husband to analyze them without me getting angry. I’ll get there though. I have the passion and the drive and I love animals… from a distance. Up close I get scared and edgy. This is why I love taking pictures of animals and wildlife. Over the next few years I will invest in better equipment and proper training to take amazing pictures. Here are a few of my favorite places in the USA to view fantastic wildlife.

Canoeing Down The Delaware – The Dog Days are Just Beginning
The Poconos Mountains are a fabulous place to go for a romantic weekend. Do you know what also makes for a great romantic weekend? Weimaraners! Okay so maybe not, but Zoe insisted on joining us for our weekend getaway to the Poconos and as always she also insisted that she firmly plant her fuzzy butt right in the middle of everything. While on our fabulous romantic getaway to the Poconos, Kenin and I decided to take an intimate canoe trip down the gorgeous Delaware River. Luckily for Zoe, the folks at Kittatinny Canoes love dogs just as much as we do so they didn’t mind her tagging along on our romantic river ride.

Anyone who knows us or follows this site has to know that Lauren and I are huge animal lovers. No matter how big or small, fluffy or scaly, on land or in water, if we have a chance to go spend some time with critters we’re going to take advantage of it. When we found out that the Maryland Zoo was conveniently located right outside of downtown Baltimore we had to plan a trip! I’m happy to say that we weren’t disappointed. We spent the day going wild at the Maryland Zoo!
Dog Snogs: Puppy Love and My Cheating Heart – A Confession
I love my dogs! I love having them by my side everyday. If I could, I would take them everywhere with me. Zoe and Punkin have been on countless vacations with me. They have climbed mountains and waded in oceans with me right by their side. They fill my heart with joy and I cannot picture my life without them …with that being said though, I have to confess that I have a cheating heart! I suffer from a severe malady – Puppy Love! I need dog snogs and I don’t care where I get them! :(
